And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. Matthew 24:14
What Jesus Christ said in Matthew 24:14 gives us the final antidote against the religious bug called “rapture fever.” Jesus told His apprentice apostles that the “Gospel of the Kingdom” shall be preached (proclaimed) in the entire world as a witness to all nations, before His second coming. Notice that this passage of Scripture is talking about a phenomenon that many of us have never seen. It is not talking about individuals accepting Christ as Savior, even though this is very important. It is talking about entire nations and people groups becoming acquainted with the Gospel of the Kingdom. This is mind-boggling to me!
Many people in the Church, not to mention the world, have never heard the Gospel of the Kingdom. What many people in the Church have heard is spiritual self-help messages under titles such as, “God Will See You Through,” “The God of Your Breakthrough,” or “Seven Steps to a Better You.” If you, for one moment, think that messages such as these are the Gospel of the Kingdom then you are in for a rude awakening. The Gospel of the Kingdom is centered on God and His Kingdom. The Gospel of the Kingdom is not about you. It is about divine occupation of every enterprise of human endeavor until the kingdoms of this world become the Kingdom of God and His Christ (Revelations. 11:15). This is why God is determined to intercept and bring down the hyper-rapture doctrine that has paralyzed many people in the body of Christ.
In regards, the second tenet of this demonic triad from the Tower of Babel, God has not called us as his co-laborers, co-creators and co-heirs to make a name for ourselves, but to be Ambassadors of the Name above all names. He has called us to advance His Kingdom; its principles, values, purposes, strategies, and technologies. It means we are to be promoters of Jesus and His Kingdom rather than ourselves and our little kingdoms. It means that our true value, worth and ultimate usefulness to God is not based on what men say about us, or even what we say about ourselves, or how big our buildings, businesses, staffs, budgets, attendance and media ministries are, but on what God says about us and our contribution to the cause of advancing the Kingdom. There is no life discipline that desperately needs the positive influence of the Kingdom of God more than the marketplace. How would today’s marketplace be if God’s Kingdom values were infused into it? We would have a radically different world.

Heavenly Father, let Your Kingdom come as it is in Heaven, in Jesus name, I pray. Help me to become an effective ambassador of the Kingdom of God, here on Earth. I ask You to open my heart to the voice of the Holy Spirit as He guides me in how I can bring in the Gospel of the Kingdom, in all my spheres of influence, so I can actualize my God-given destiny in the marketplace. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen
