Every generation is given a sacred opportunity—not only to worship God, but to prepare a place where others will encounter Him long after we are gone. Today, our church stands at such a moment. The call before us is simple yet profound: to provide chairs for God’s house, and in doing so, to establish a spiritual legacy that will speak for years to come.

The apostle Paul reminds us in Ephesians 2:6 that “God has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” This scripture reveals a powerful truth: sitting is not passive in the spirit—it is a position of authority, rest, and belonging in Christ. When we provide seats in God’s house, we are making room for people to experience this heavenly reality on earth.

Every chair represents more than wood and metal.
It represents:

A soul that will sit to hear the Word

A child who will sit to learn the ways of God

A weary heart that will sit to find rest

A testimony that will sit and rise transformed

By sowing into church chairs, you are sowing into lives yet unborn, prayers yet unspoken, and miracles yet unseen.

Chairs as Stones of Memorial

In Joshua 4:7, the Lord instructed Israel to set up stones as a memorial so that future generations would ask, “What do these stones mean?” and the story of God’s mighty acts would be told again and again.

In the same way, each chair purchased through this campaign will become a living memorial. As a lasting testimony, the name of the donor—or the name of their child(ren)—will be written under each chair. This is not for pride, but for remembrance. Long after today, someone will sit on that chair and heaven will remember that a faithful believer once gave so others could encounter God.

One day, children and grandchildren will know:

“Someone in my family built a seat in God’s house.”

That is legacy.
